It looks like we will have all kinds of temperatures but normal this November.
We have obviously started the month with extreme warmth for early November. Most cities are going to miss record high temperatures by just two to four degrees today. Actual temperatures warmed to the low-to-mid 70s, but record high temperatures where 75 degrees to 80 degrees.
The general temperature scenario goes like this for the next two weeks: Very warm temperatures up to Saturday’s wind gust. Sunday will be slightly cooler, but still much warmer than normal. A robust warm-up will start again Tuesday and peak about Thursday of next week. At that point next Thursday we could again have temperatures well into the 70s, which would be record warmth.
After next Thursday or Friday, most model data indicates cooler than average temperatures moving into Michigan. We could go from 25 degrees warmer than average to 15 degrees colder than average.
It will be a shock to our system when we encounter a 40 degree temperature swing in just two days late next week.

By next Saturday we cool down to 40s and 50s. That will be a shock after a whole week in the 60s and 70s.
There is also some indication from these models that the cooldown may only be for five days, and then another warm-up arrives as we head toward Thanksgiving. There is enough cold up north to get us thinking about accumulating snow if it doesn’t warm up.
