Wisconsin governor candidate Michels says he would fire DA Chisholm

Nearly every time Wisconsin Republican gubernatorial candidate Tim Michels is on the campaign trail, he mentions what he plans to do on Day 1 if elected: fire Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm.

“I’m going to back the blue, I’m going to stand with the men and women in law enforcement,” Michels said during a Milwaukee Rotary Club event. “And these catch and release DAs that are letting these bad guys out on the streets the next day, like Darrell Brooks, I’m going to get rid of them, I’m going to replace them. We will have rule of law again.”
