A woman who was injured in a serious motorcycle crash on Oct. 30 has died, according to Des Moines police.Police said 35-year-old Lynz Ross, of Des Moines, died Wednesday. She had been in critical condition.Ross was a passenger on the motorcycle when it crashed with a car at 19th Street and the westbound Interstate 235 off-ramp. The crash was reported at about 3:30 a.m. The driver of the motorcycle, an unidentified man, remains in critical condition. The driver of the car, an unidentified woman, was treated for minor injuries.According to police, the motorcycle was traveling northbound on 19th Street at a high rate of speed. The car, crossing 19th Street while exiting the I-235 westbound off-ramp, entered the intersection. That’s when the two vehicles collided. Witness reports say the car entered the intersection on a green light.The death of Ross is the 19th traffic-related fatality of 2022 and the 10th involving a motorcycle.
